                                          I never got to say goodbye
                                          To the girl of my life
                                          It hurt my heart, not to say
                                          Just to say that word

                                          I never got to say goodbye
                                          Because they wouldn't let me
                                          They wouldn't let me do anything,
                                          Speak, move or cry.

                                          I never got to say goodbye
                                          It was the saddest day of my life
                                          But it wasn't just me that was sad
                                          My girl, friends and family all cried

                                          I never got to say goodbye
                                          Because the police made me die
                                          But girl, if you can hear me from heaven
                                          Please don't cry...

Valentine Blues I see presents bright as a rainbow,
with pretty pink ribbons and packaging
They might have a ring or a watch inside
But I'm still feeling blue

I see cards with hand-crafted hearts
Pink and pretty
Some have noises and badges on
But I'm still feeling blue

The Spirit River The Spirit River flows like a mind
With all it's feelings
It sees people go by day and night
But it never gets noticed

It has feelings like "Hatred" and "Love"
And expresses them in different ways
It can get scared and react to things
But it never gets noticed

The Fire The fire, burns with its almighty blaze,
Tearing the building apart,
It hops from brick to brick,
But the Firefighters put it out,

The Fire's Blaze is so very graceful,
But the people who started have no integrity,
And they don't even have respect for the building,
